- Chris Brine Review added: 2018.01.08★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Possibly put me off fish and chips for life, visited this place for the first time the other day and got a bad feeling ( This feeling severly deteriorated once I had eaten) as soon as I entered at peak lunch time on a busy street to find the place completely empty. A face appeared behind the counter so I ordered fish & chips, a few minutes passed before he scooped what looked like a pile of dried up dead slugs dug up in the garden and began to wrap them, these turned out to be the chips. It got worse, the fish looked like it had been cooked at least three times and tasted worse. I came to the conclusion that it probably had been cooked three times as the two previous customers had the sense to return it. A week has passed now and I still can't remove the greasy stench left behind in my vehicle or the feeling that I might still bring this meal back up, not nice. On the plus side my can of Dr pepper was delightful.
